A Pathways Night to inform and celebrate student opportunities will be held at the Stratford Rotary Complex, Wednesday, May 2 at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Pathways is a guided tour of the possibilities for students once they complete secondary school. They will also learn about which courses they should consider taking in secondary school in order to successfully follow their path. A similar night was recently held at Central Huron Secondary School in Clinton. Ironworker Jamie McMillan was there. McMillan is an inspiration and mentor to hundreds of young women. She’s opened doors, and minds, to all of the career possibilities in the skilled trades. Students and families also heard about specialty programs such as cooperative education, dual credits and specialist high skills majors. McMillan will also attend the Pathways Night in Stratford.
